Background
Agriculture is the backbone of Uganda’s economy, playing a crucial role in feeding the country's growing population and contributing to global food security. However, despite these noble objectives, many farmers continue to practice subsistence agriculture using traditional tools such as hoes and other basic implements.
To address this challenge, there is a pressing need for skilled guidance to equip farmers with modern, efficient, and sustainable farming techniques. Kigezi Agricultural College (KAC) envisions a future where the world thrives through the optimal utilization of agricultural resources, maximizing productivity even as arable land becomes increasingly scarce.
At KAC, learners receive hands-on, practical training designed to accelerate their knowledge and skills, empowering them to improve their livelihoods and contribute meaningfully to agricultural development.
